    I ordered the dryer balls along with a goose down comforter. My first use of them was with the comforter in the dryer for 5-minutes to fluff up the loft of the comforter. I've always used tennis balls with my down items and these did the job just as well, but seemed far less likely to cause damage. I have also used them with a load of cotton clothing and was surprised at how quickly and much more evenly it dried.
