Great quality. VERY warm and all season. Could probably be fine with the summer version as this one is very warm! Almost too warm unless you sleep with open windows thru the winter.

After using our regular German comforters for quite a while, my tall husband finally convinced me that we should get the long version so that his toes wouldn’t peek out. Now that our comforters are on the bed and we have used them, we are thrilled. I’ve lived in Germany for some time and love to use the personal comforter method and am thrilled we found this company to buy high quality comforters that have wonderful lightweight loft and are the perfect personal size. Been using a down comforter for years, but after a Europe trip we found our hotels used "European Style Comforter" set-up whereby each of us had individual Twin-sized comforter as opposed to sharing (competing for) a King sized. Wife & I consistently slept better due to ability to regulate our own warmth/coverage with less disturbance. After researching manufacturers and quality standards, I decided to buy the German Down Comforters. They are excellent quality in workmanship & materials. Comforters do not leak down, the baffles don't flatten or shift, and I don't need additional blankets to stay warm on cold nights as I often experienced with my old Pacific Coast Co down comforter. You can spend less elsewhere, but you wont get the same quality. I'm very satisfied. Also happy purchasing from a German family-run mfr dedicated to high standards as opposed to a mass market producer offloading labor to Asia and cutting corners on materials and processes. You get what you pay for!
